If you’re interested in travelling abroad thanks to programmes like Erasmus+ or the European Solidarity Corps (ESC), the first question is:
Where can I actually find such a project?
Here you’ll find an overview of verified sources and platforms where current open calls are regularly published.
The official youth portal of the European Union. In the “Opportunities” section, you’ll find volunteering projects within the ESC and sometimes even Youth Exchanges. Offers are in English, the projects are verified and safe.
This platform is primarily intended for youth workers and organizations, but you can also find open calls for Youth Exchanges, Training Courses or Contact Making Events here. You’ll find application forms, detailed info, and deadlines as well.
Many projects for Czech participants are mediated by so-called sending organizations. They often publish open calls on their websites or social media. Here are a few examples:
The Czech National Agency for the Erasmus+ and ESC programmes. Their website provides clear information, events, and occasionally open calls for the public.
A large portion of open calls is now shared via Facebook or WhatsApp groups or through organization profiles. We recommend following, for example:
“Youth Opportunities CZ/SK”
“ESC & Erasmus+ Projects for Europeans”
“Erasmus+ Projects | Training Courses | Youth Exchanges”
Tip: Follow Instagram accounts of the organizations and our project – there are often stories with current open calls.
